Role Description: As a Project Manager at Paladin, you will lead and oversee engineering projects from inception through successful completion. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative robotic solutions. You will work closely with the Director of Engineering to develop, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress, performance, and alignment with organizational goals. Based in Houston, TX, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
● Work closely with the Director of Engineering to identify, monitor, and report KPIs across multiple projects and the organization.
● Develop and manage detailed project plans, including defining scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
● Set clear project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding and documentation of project requirements.
● Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure timely and high-quality results.
● Facilitate regular team meetings and provide consistent updates to stakeholders.
● Create and oversee project budgets, including cost estimates and financial tracking.
● Manage resource allocation and project-related expenses.
● Address any resource constraints or conflicts proactively.
● Identify potential risks and issues impacting project success.
● Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
● Continuously monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
● 3 years of project management experience, ideally within the robotics or technology sector.
● Strong understanding of robotics systems, engineering principles, probability, and technology integration.
● Proven track record in managing complex projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Strong leadership and team management abilities, focusing on motivating and guiding cross-functional teams.
● Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues and implement effective solutions.
● Proven ability to identify and align KPIs across engineering projects with organizational KPIs.
