- Looking for Fitness /Wellness coordinator for Independent/Assisted Living/ Memory Care communities
- Coordinate, plan and facilitate fitness and wellness activities meeting the health and wellness engaged lifestyle category expectations for all levels of care. Track effectiveness of fitness programs using tracking tools to assist residents in creating and achieving personal fitness and wellness goals. Follow the Arbor Company exercise program leading fitness classes for all levels of care. Work with the engagement director and dining director to plan and implement classes, speakers, and seminars to promote a healthy lifestyle for residents. Positively promote and encourage residents to pursue new engagement opportunities, make healthier choices, and lifestyle changes.
- Minimum one-year activities experience working with the elderly in assisted living, memory care, adult daycare, or related field
- A passion for serving our elders
- MUST BE VERY ENERGETIC, background in Art ,Music also a plus
- Must Be comfortable creating and running exercise, gardening and other programs
- MUST be comfortable driving 10 passenger van
- Teaching experience a plus
- Skilled at building relationships with residents and families
- Meet all health requirements, and acceptable TB results
- Meet State requirements on a criminal background check.
- Assisting the Memory Care Activities Coordinator some days.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
