What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reach Truck/Forklift Operator position at Palmer Distribution Services Inc?
We have immediate openings for experienced Reach Truck/Forklift Operators with a starting pay rate of $17.00. We are looking for candidates who want to work for a stable, growing company. This is a direct hire position! Benefits will be available the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Benefits include medical, dental and vision; Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Accident and Hospital policies and 401k.
- 2 years of Forklift Experience (sit-down & reach truck are required, clamp is a plus)
- Past history of handling drums and/or construction materials are also a huge plus
-Attention to detail
-Attendance/Punctuality are key since facility has a small crew
-Perform manual unloading and loading may be required as well as other general warehouse tasks throughout the day.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
*Must be available to come in early or stay late depending on daily activity.
