Recruiter
Based out of Indianapolis
Salary plus Bonus on Recruits and Retention.
We are seeking a relationship builder to promote Palmer Trucks and what it has to offer. Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process. Screen potential employees through interviews and reference checks, while learning about their goals, skills, and interests to ensure alignment.
Expand into all Palmer Markets and Positions
Promote Jobs, Manage Ads
- • Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals
- • Work with Managers to coordinate interviews and additional steps in the hiring process.
- • Check References
- • Work Job Fairs, with Hiring Managers
- • Liaison with Technical Schools
- • Day visits to stores (mileage reimbursement)
- • Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until 100 days on the job.
- • Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates
- • Perform critical relationship-building activities, from communicating with the new employee from an interview, checking in on their first day of work, and keeping in touch throughout their job at Palmer.
- • Participate in the Setup Onboarding Process
- • Retention after 90 days after 1 year with candidates
