Palmetto Medical is a durable medical equipment sales company that distributes medical equipment and provides billing services to doctors’ offices across multiple states. Our company is located in Florence, a small town which is known for well-established medical care in South Carolina.
We are looking for an energetic, conscientious and detail-oriented individual who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in their career to work in our office.
Responsibilities/Skills:
Processing patient data into billing system
Perform pre-authorizations
File and verify claims to insurance companies
Craft Accounts Receivable invoices
Post electronic and manual payments
Maintain and update filing and database systems, either manually or using a computer
End of month reporting, adjustments, and support
Fit patients with braces and/or bone growth stimulators
Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
Answer questions from vendors, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
Special Projects as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Some college coursework or business vocational school education preferred
Computer savvy and proficient in MS Office suite
Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
Previous knowledge of CGM or Brightree preferred
Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to work with confidential documents.
Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
