Looking for a Program Manager to assist with the operations in our person-centered company.
Community engagement service means a service that supports and fosters an individual's abilities to acquire, retain or improve skills necessary to build positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, greater independence, employability, and personal choices necessary to access typical activities and functions of community life such as those chosen by the general population. The community engagement service may include community education or training and volunteer activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage activities that support and fosters individuals’ abilities to acquire, retain or improve skills necessary to build positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, greater independence, and personal choices and functions of community life
- Attend meetings and coordinates the development of person-centered plans, ISP/Part V, and Quarterlies; CHRIS Reports and incident reports; and Corrective Action Plans
- Trains and supervises Community Coaches, to include scheduling and mentoring
- Ensure compliance of all personnel and client files to DBHDS standards
- Monitor Service Authorizations (SA) in WaMS and ensure they are submitted and active
- Audit program documentation to ensure timely submission, accuracy, completeness of daily progress notes and enforce internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintains and ensures that PAMCO Care systems (Therap, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ensures the coordination and integration of programs and services including admission, discharges, service planning, and other stakeholder collaboration
- Responds to emergency situations per policy and procedure guidelines
- Develops program budget and ensures reporting of program expenses
- Knowledge of reporting procedures to the Office of Licensing, Office of Human Rights, and Department of Social Services. Complies with requirements and reporting procedures to the Office of Licensing, Office of Human Rights, and Department of Social Services (CHRIS, CONNECT, WAMS, etc.)
- Maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage maladaptive behavior.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Position may require tasks such as lifting, running, and kneeling. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
SCHEDULE
- Must be able to work various days and hours to meet program needs
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy preferred
· Three years of experience in intellectual and developmental disability is required
· 1 year of supervisory experience
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft applications & computer skills
· Ability to multi-task
· Have a valid driver’s license
· Ability to pass background checks, TB test, and reference checks
Salaried - Exempt: $55-65K
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
