Position Overview :

Assists Rehabilitation Services management in the monitoring and maintenance of efficient, effective and accurate levels of operation of clinical function, whose client base includes patients of all ages.

Oversees the overall operation of the inpatient services guiding the job performance of the department staff on a day-to-day basis.

Assures adequate staffing, ensures proper orientation and training of employees, and provides clinical Physical Therapy to patients.

Job Description :

• Provides supervision and leadership to the clinical staff. Assures that a smooth and efficient flow of work is maintained to provide the delivery of quality patient care.
• Monitors operations and maintains appropriate staffing and service levels while working in the clinical areas the majority of time.
• Applies problem resolution and intervention process effectively. Refers problems and solutions to higher level of authority in the appropriate manner.
• Ensures the availability and condition of equipment and supplies adequate to perform services
• Oversees effectiveness and accuracy of physical therapy protocols, policy and procedures, treatments and education of staff.
• Serves as a resource to team, providing direction for issue / problem resolution and responding timely to escalated issues.
• Develops and implements standard work, processes and workflows to ensure effective and efficient operations while soliciting feedback from staff.

EDUCATION :

Other : Graduate from an accredited physical therapy school.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE :

• PT-Physical Therapist.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE :

5 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

• Knowledge and understanding of applicable local, state, federal and other laws, regulations and requirements impacting department operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching / mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
• Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and / or leaders to achieve business objectives.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service / achieving business results.
• Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.

Pay Range is $67.50 to $91.11 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
