What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Education Specialist - Remote position at panoramic?
The Clinical Education Specialist areas of focus include development of training materials and clinical education for Panoramic Health value-based care team members. The Clinical Education Specialist should understand the importance of the “Quadruple Aim,” where high-touch interactions between patient and healthcare provider enhance patient experience, improve health outcomes, reduce costs, and improve the work life of the provider.
Responsibilities include:
Have a patient-first mindset, excellent problem solving and communication skills, who can thrive in an autonomous and evolving environment.
Design and develop value-based care training programs to ensure staff is proficient in processes and procedures, including ongoing education on items identified from quality assurance partners or operational teams.
Implement standardized onboarding program and support for new hires, including assignment of a preceptor and updates to leadership on outstanding training modules and competencies.
Support the policy program manager in maintaining and updating training materials as workflows and processes evolve due to expanding business.
Utilizing the LMS platform to build training materials, learning assessments, and ongoing trainings.
Facilitate live education sessions for new role-specific training and onboarding, while also ensuring continuous role-specific learning through a blend of live and video-based classes.
Partner with the Learning and Development team to support growth and development workshops and trainings specific to the VBC leaders and clinical team members.
Routinely evaluate and adjust training needs to adapt to an everchanging environment.
Develop and manage tracking and reporting progress on training programs to ensure company goals are consistently met.
Provide ongoing feedback on status of trainees and enhancements to support improved education based on best practices.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field or RN with equivalent education. Master’s degree preferred.
2 years of clinical experience in chronic kidney disease, ESKD, renal transplant, or dialysis highly preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position of coordinating, developing, and/or delivering clinical education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communications.
Communicate effectively and clearly.
Ability to stick to time constraints and meet deadlines.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Clinical background preferred.
Detail-oriented, highly organized individual with experience leading a team preferred.
