Responsibilities
Manage the execution of Papa John's advertising media strategy, ensuring the company is receiving the greatest return on its advertising investments.
- Assist the Sr. Manager, Media and the national media-buying agency in developing national media strategies to support Papa John's brand and promotional strategies.
- Track national media spending, identify and resolve discrepancies from budgets with the national media buying agency; record and manage media invoices; regularly communicate budget status and issues
- Track media activity; prepare regular summary reports
- Coordinate communications with media vendors; coordinate and participate in meetings; review proposals and provide POVs.
- Coordinate communication of the national media plan to the field (Regional Marketing Directors and Local Co-op Agencies), including marketing assets, creative rotation, national media calendar, national media plan, monthly TV Buy Summaries
- Manage and communicate competitive reporting from national agency
- Coordinate and monitor media auditing of national and local TV buys through the third-party media auditing company; develop and execute actions to resolve issues identified through audits
- Send and manage assets for sponsorships and added-value; coordinate approval with SVP, Brand and Papa John's Legal Dept.
Qualifications
- Strong math skills required
- Proficient experience with Word, Excel required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications required
- 4-6 years experience in broadcast media planning and buying required
