Financial Controller

Paragon is in search of an ambitious and experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities. The ideal candidate will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for providing financial reporting & analysis, and strong communication with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close; import data into financial software
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll taxes (940, 941, NYS45)
• Prepare and manage annual audits
• Manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
• Communicate financial metrics to CFO
• Provide support to AR, AP and payroll departments
• Analyzing consolidated expense data

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or controller role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas required
• Experience in a healthcare organization preferred
• CPA certification a plus but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to work closely with a senior management team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000 - $150,000
