Responsibilities/duties
- Must be able to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair production machinery and heavy equipment manufacturing equipment. (REQUIRED!!)
- Extensive experience with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery (valves, grinders, pumps, presses, cylinders, drills , brakes etc) (REQUIRED)
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical machinery equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
- Perform routine inspections on machines and equipment.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Must have heavy equipment manufacturing plant experience. (REQUIRED)
- Full and complete understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) troubleshooting.
- Electrician’s License preferred, but not mandatory.
- Must have experience using a multimeter.
- Automation experience (REQUIRED).
- Strong experience in PLCs troubleshooting, electrical issues and test equipment repair
- Experience with plastic packaging machines and injection molding machines and blow molding machines (preferred)
