The Trainer is responsible for low level education material maintenance and delivery of content-specific curriculums. This individual will work closely with subject matter experts to assure course content and delivery meets the needs of targeted audiences. Skilled in facilitation and interpersonal communication, this team member also consistently demonstrates solid organizational skills, time management, and professionalism.
In this role you will:
- Apply adult learning concepts when delivering educational programs
- Teach classes and assist other instructors in a classroom and work setting
- Utilize available standardized courses and instructor evaluation processes
- Assist in performing an annual education needs assessment as input to the strategic education program
- Utilize a training database to track competencies and skills for all SSC staff
- Provide training reports to SSC managers and directors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of related experience required
- Operational experience and knowledge pertaining to Medicare and Veteran's Affairs billing and collections
- Education/training experience is a big plus however operational knowledge is required for success in this position
- Flexible and collaborative traits
