SUMMARY
Assist in monitoring the used-vehicle sales department and the performance of all employees within the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accurate management of the general ledger and preparation of financial operating reports and sales tax returns.
- Supervision and training of office staff
- Maintain the daily banking.
- Manage floor plan.
- Parts deals
- Parts statements
- Schedule Reviews
- Post deals
- Complete month-end close
- Report all reports requested and required by management

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- At least 3 years Automotive Dealership Office Management experience
- DMV knowledge
- Able to multitask, delegate and supervise staff
- Understanding of all functions in the accounting office of an automobile dealership
- Strong understanding of ADP
- Professional appearance & demeanor
- Payroll processing experience
- Must be able to lead a team and work well with other departments managers
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Valid Driver's License
