As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are the first face of our office and the smiling face that gives our patients a great first impression and leaves them with the warm and fuzzies, which allows them to feel at home with our office.
General Objectives :
We are looking for a talented individual with previous dental front-office experience to add to our growing team! This individual with be a crucial part of our team assisting in patient management for effective and productive clinical days.
They will communicate with parents, front-office, and back-office to keep the day flowing harmoniously. They will be the hub of internal and external communication and manage the schedule to effectively meet patient and staff needs.
Compensation : $18 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities :
Patient Care Coordinator Duties :
- Answer phones with excellent customer service and a positive attitude
- Work with our insurance coordinator to verify insurance eligibility for scheduled patients
- Manage schedule for efficiency and productivity
- Chart Management Scanning with Dentrix Ascend
- Manage main office e-mail account
- Obtain x-rays from dental offices for referred patients
- Patient Letters
- Schedule operative, follow up, and recall appointments
- Check-in and check-out patients
- Generate and submit all insurance claims and complete all end-of-day tasks and printouts required
Qualifications : Needed Skill Set :
Needed Skill Set :
- Previous front-office dental experience and knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is highly preferred
- Multi-tasker, ability to process while under pressure, great communication skills, intuitive and emotional intelligence
- Good listening skills, detail-oriented, organized, flexible, forward-thinking
- Will be conscious of the patients’ and parents’ needs, desires, and perceptions
- Ability to take direction and correction from others with the willingness to humbly present yourself
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter in developing systems or improvements to existing processes
- Can work independently and handle the pace of a busy dental practice
