Engineered Polymer Systems (EPS) Division designs and manufactures engineered elastomeric, polymeric and plastic seals and sealing systems for dynamic applications. Our material scientists are experts in polymer development. Our product and application engineering teams understand the real world problems facing design engineers. We are more than a seal manufacturer - we work with you to solve problems - allowing you to get your products to market quickly and safely. For over 65 years we've been designing, engineering, and manufacturing quality products for some of the biggest names - worldwide - in industries serving the following industries: Oil & Gas, Mobile Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Automotive & Transportation Aerospace, Consumer, Medical & Life Sciences.

-Gather baseline data to understand how hydrodynamic pattern features work on rotary shaft seals.

-Create Test Fixture and Test Method to evaluate and measure Hydrodynamic Pattern pumping capabilities.

-Document Testing Results, analyze variables start assembling pattern effectiveness.

-Develop Inventor Standard Method to create hydrodynamic patterns in model creation.

-Hours: 20-40 hours/week typically between 8 AM and 5 PM depending on availability

-Flexible start date

-Junior or Senior level status in an Accredited University in an Engineering related degree program including, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology or related degree program.

-Some work experience through previous internships preferred.

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
