Join Our Winning Team! Parker Hannifin's Industrial Aftermarket Filtration business is looking for Human Resources Generalist to join our successful team in Slater, MO.

With four different facilities across two divisions we pride ourselves on our teamwork and can-do spirit. As a Human Resource (HR) Generalist at Parker, you will assist the Human Resources Manager in the administration of various human resource services and functions across multiple shifts within our Slater facility.

Your current skills and knowledge will be an asset in this role as you interact with management, salaried and hourly employees to answer HR questions and resolve issues while complying with company and legal policies.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing, planning, coordinating and implementing specific human resources goals and strategies, projects and initiatives focused on improving employee engagement and accomplishing strategic initiates.

Essential Functions

• Takes an active role in understanding business issues, suggesting solutions, and following through to resolution.
• Recruit, hire, and conduct new employee orientation.
• Conduct training session related to compliance, benefits, and others as required.
• Participate in the administration of wage and salary, benefits, 401(k).
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Participates in performance management and the development of hourly and salaried personnel.
• HRIS administration and maintenance.
• Explain and administer company policies and procedures.
• Facilitate group processes, enable and encourage employee involvement and, problem solving resulting in best practice.

Required Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or 2-year college degree with equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of broad-based HR experience in manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates excellent competency in computer applications for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and access or the ability to learn access.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationship at all levels within the facility.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participate team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual - English / Spanish
• PHR / SPHR
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding and training
