COMMERCIAL PARKING MANAGER DUTIES:
- Responsible for scheduling the staff(s) according to business forecast, payroll budget guidelines and productivity requirements.
- Oversee performance reviews, training and development of all staff(s) to achieve service quality standards
- Oversee and participate in all aspects of the self-parking operations, i.e. guest interaction and shift coverage.
- Responsible for maintaining supplies and inventories on as needed basis or at minimum monthly par.
- Motivate Attendant team members and establish a productive working environment at each location.
- Maintains guest satisfaction and respond to those guests who require follow-up.
- Creates awareness of guest satisfaction and of the significance of the service impact on guests. Use all guest responses as tools for both motivation and accountability.
- Use guest satisfaction to create motivational goals within each location.
- Analyze reports and communicates information to staff and appropriate locations.
- Maintain correct procedures for accounting, ticket control and handling of all parking and financial transactions.
- Maintain procedures for security of monies, guest and team member security and emergency procedures.
- Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner, taking the appropriate action to resolve matters. Follow up to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with all client departments to ensure groups and special functions are handled smoothly.
- Coordinate training efforts and continually assess the progress of all staff(s) in technical and service excellence skills.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Travel 15 - 50% (to be determined)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- Minimum 5 years of hospitality, healthcare, or parking industry, OR Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, AND a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong team building skills and ability to motivate others
- Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate
- Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessary
- Valid in-state drivers license with a clean driving record - Ability to pass PMCs background check
- Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes
