Position Title: Service Technician

Location: Medley, FL

Job Description:

 Tropic Oil Company is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Service Technician. The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting repairs and maintenance of customer and company owned equipment related to gasoline and lubricant dispensing units, as well as monitoring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform petroleum equipment service and installation calls in a professional, timely, and quality manner
• Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment and perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems
• Complete job paperwork for each service call, at the time of service
• Complete training courses in a timely manner to maintain current certifications and equipment knowledge
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required
• Order, track, and catalog internal inventory in compliance with company standards and requirements
• Juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment

Qualifications:

• Communicate skillfully and effectively in person or over the phone
• Bi- lingual candidate preferred
• Positive Attitude
• Attention to Detail
• Proficient in computer systems such as Microsoft Office.
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member
• Willingness to work in all varied weather conditions
• Clean driving record and the ability to work safely is a MUST
• Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting and caring equipment weighing up to 75 lbs
