RECEPTIONIST

Position Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and answer incoming calls in a warm, pleasant and professional manner. The Receptionist also maintains a clean and neat reception area, handles specific customer services and seeks administrative support as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
- Possess and maintain knowledge of the facility, services provided, the customers, and employees.
- Answer incoming calls, both internally and externally, in a warm, pleasant and professional manner.
- Respond to all calls following proper telephone etiquette and taking detailed messages when appropriate.
- Ensure that messages are relayed promptly to the intended person.
- Greet all visitors and employees in a warm and helpful manner.
- Ensure that the reception areas are clean, neat and inviting.
- Offer refreshments to visitors and make them feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Provide other assistance with facility services as requested by supervisor.
- Responsible for daily mail and bank deposits.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
- One-year receptionist experience preferred.
- Must meet all healthcare requirements, including Tuberculosis skin test
- Must be in positive standing with all healthcare agencies, including the Employment Clearance Registry and Adult Maltreatment Registry

This position moves intermittently throughout the workday but is primarily sedentary work. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and patients. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve working or standing for brief periods of time.
