What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Partners Personnel?
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a food production client located in Atlanta, GA. The Warehouse Manager will provide direction and management of warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures efficient inbound and outbound movement of product.
- Ensures perishable product is rotated to minimize spoilage of product and ensures product is brought to production rooms in a timely manner.
- Manage warehousing/storage of all raw product, supplies finished product and other material.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, rotate stock as required.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe and operating status, ensures any issues are addressed and corrected in a timely manner
- Supervise forklift operators and preform evaluations
- Conduct training and safety meetings as necessary, conduct disciplinary action as needed.
- Preform other duties as assigned by plant manage
- Responsible for the efficiency, scheduling and safety of warehouse personnel.
Requirements:
- Transportation — Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management preferred.
- Compliance with GH Foods’ Good Manufacturing Practices [GMPs]
- Understanding basic concepts of food borne illness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
