Role
As a Controls Engineer (also known as Automation Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Engineer), you'll be a key player in the assembly technical support team. Your role will involve improving manufacturing methods, designing and installing electrical control systems, programming and troubleshooting PLCs, and working with vendors to ensure product quality. You'll also collaborate with management and engineering teams to facilitate production processes and support automation and control systems for new processes and plant operations.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent; OR equivalent work experience.
Strong Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leadership experience.
Experience in a high volume, discreet manufacturing environment is preferred.
Background in robotic welding processes and Fanuc robotics is a plus.
Experience with vision verification systems and understanding of industrial networking systems, including Ethernet/IP and PLC communications.
