Receptionist
Summary Purpose for the Position:
Provide overall reception functions, phone as well as personal, for callers and visitors to the PathStone office. Position must screen all incoming telephone calls, receive visitors, and provide routine information on a regular basis with a positive and helpful presentation.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill):
Position requires one year of general clerical and telephone console experience.
Receptionist must have elementary technical and interpersonal skills
Familiarity and/or experience with office equipment
Typing or word processing at 50wpm
Experience as support staff in human services field.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required
Position Responsibilities:
Daily sorting and distribution of incoming mail to appropriate service areas.
Log and process outgoing mail.
Record and transmit messages.
Copying of information for Technical staff.
Operation of and securing of appropriate maintenance for, the office copy machine and Postage meter.
Position is responsible for screening phone calls.
Receiving visitors
Providing routine information to office callers and visitors.
Maintenance of bulletin board for position vacancies through the posting of internal and external job vacancies
Working Conditions/Environment:
Position requires flexible work hours, including nights, and weekends.
Work indoor and outdoor.
Driving is routinely required.
Some lifting.
Transportation Requirement:
Position requires automobile, driver's license and insurance.
