Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Client Success Specialist serves as a client advocate, onboarding resource, project manager and proactive strategic resource throughout the digital post-sale process. The Digital Marketing Client Success Specialist is an integral part of our support team, leading in digital strategy, customer onboarding, reporting and long-term customer retention. This client-facing position works with the team to promote client retention and growth through excellent customer service and digital marketing savvy.
Responsibilities
• Strategy: Work with sales and marketing services on post-sale workflows and strategies to retain and grow revenue among strategic clients through paid search, SEO, and social advertising.
• Execution: Work with marketing services to ensure execution of post-sale deliverables align with the client’s KPIs which could include reselling/explaining the clients strategic advertising campaigns, proper pixel placements, campaign audits, reporting, and creative strategy.
• Project/Account Management: This position will be responsible for overseeing some of our agency's largest advertisers including offering strategy and support, analysis and client services where needed to retain and drive revenue.
• Communication: Internal communication with the team will be a crucial responsibility of this role to ensure the team is clear on its goals and strategic plans to drive revenue which are established in the kick-off call (hosted by you) and future communication and campaign performance calls (hosted by you). External communication will include maintaining and elevating our standards of superior client service, translating and executing marketing strategies and maintaining client relationships.
• Reporting: Deliver client reporting on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, to align with our agency's standard operating procedures. Reporting will leverage proprietary technology, as well as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Ads.
• Troubleshooting: When problems arise, it will be necessary to perform troubleshooting steps to ensure that issues are properly resolved and document best practices.
Identify upsell opportunities
Field Support Calls for existing clients
Coordinate with internal workgroups to onboard clients
Facilitate regular communication cadence with our largest advertisers
Be a leader in creating campaign strategy and collaborating with the sales and fulfillment teams
Determine tracking strategies needed to tell a campaign’s “true story”
Ability to help craft and implement unique and creative marketing strategies
Review campaign results and make/recommend positive changes when needed
Prepare monthly campaign reports and intuitively present to customer
Compile and interpret marketing research data
Stay ahead of industry specific trends and digital marketing capabilities
Be a digital marketing leader and trailblazer
Promote client advocacy at every step in the process
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with a variety of digital marketing tactics including social, SEO, SEM, display and programmatic
A proven track record in digital campaign sales, strategy and performance management
Ability to have productive customer interactions in person, on the phone or via email
Analytical skills and high attention to detail
Ability to learn and adapt new technologies
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity and strategic skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing campaigns using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
Advanced knowledge of campaign tracking strategy including placement of pixels and other measurement software
Experience working with 3rd party vendors to fulfill customer campaigns
Google AdWords and Google Analytics certified
Google Search Console experience
Experience with Salesforce and Google Drive
Benefits:
