Foremost Fabricators, a division of Patrick Industries, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their team on 1st and 2nd Shifts! Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for working with the maintenance team in the repairs and preventative maintenance for all machinery throughout the facility.
The role will encompass a hands-on approach, working side by side other Maintenance Technicians to complete routine repairs, corrective repairs, and emergent maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Foremost Fabricators is a manufacturer of fabricated aluminum products, FRP sheet and coil, and custom laminated products. Foremost Fabricators has five facilities located in Goshen, IN and our team members strive to provide exceptional quality, service, and value to our Customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Members of the Maintenance Team are responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshooting, repairing and performing maintenance on a variety of automated woodworking and laminating machinery, which include PLC’s, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical Systems. Further maintenance responsibilities include fabrication, machining, and machine moving.
Essential job functions will include:
· Maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery
· Provide training that will cover equipment, electrical and mechanical, fabrication
· Bridging communication between shifts
· Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of 24VDC Control systems
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and machine diagrams
- Proficient in reading hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working within OSHA safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE
