Patron Technology is looking for a dynamic and passionate Director of Sales with a live events, sports, entertainment, ticketing or SaaS background to join our growing sales team. This role will be the primary driver for new business development, creating cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and fostering strong, long-term relationships with our partners. The Director of Sales will analyze prospects’ technology challenges in order to align the right solutions from the Patron Technology portfolio of product and services. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a customer success-driven personality, creative problem solving abilities along with excellent communication skills.

AS A DIRECTOR OF SALES, YOU WILL:
- Build a book of business by identifying and selling Patron Technology products and services to qualified prospects
- Meet and exceed sales quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing new business opportunities
- Quickly grasp prospect’s business and technical requirements and fit solutions around those specific needs
- Track and maintain all prospect interaction and transactional information in a CRM system (Salesforce)
- Manage all phases of the sales cycle from first call to successful close (including proposal development, scope definition, client presentations and contract preparation)
- Apply consistent and efficient forecasting practices
- Conduct product demos via video conferencing software for prospects and clients
- Proactively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities
- Manage client expectations during the sales and implementation process
- Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business
- Understand the competitive landscape and Patron Technology differentiators to ultimately outmaneuver competition in head-to-head proposals
- Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure client satisfaction and win renewal business
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in sales, marketing, or business administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales, solution selling, or strategic accounts selling
- Passion for technology and live events
- Desire to explore and understand new platforms
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
- Prior experience selling ticketing, entertainment/sports technology, marketing, sales, CRM or other SaaS related services is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce for account, quota and opportunity management
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
- Self starter and ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities, projects, and resources
- Available for occasional travel in North America for sales meetings and industry events
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
