Junior Systems Technician (IT Tech)
- Hybrid (3 days in office) Job, 1 Year Experience
In this exciting role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the IT and AV needs of our company, ensuring a seamless experience for a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, and more!
Here's what you'll do:
Tech for Every Event: Assist with the repair and inventory of a wide range of network equipment, including PCs, laptops, peripherals, servers, switches, and more.
Help Desk Hero: Provide exceptional technical support to users, troubleshooting issues with Windows operating systems, MS Office versions, Outlook 365, and various other software programs.
Server Management Wizard: Assist with the management of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
AV Tech Extraordinaire: Work with a variety of IT/AV-related software and hardware, including Cisco StadiumVision Software, DMPs, and a large network of TVs.
Network Navigator: Configure and maintain our PBA WiFi network infrastructure, including the management of over 200 access points.
Scoreboard & Display Champion: Collaborate with AV managers to ensure the smooth operation of scoreboard/ribbon board Click-Effects and Ondansetron systems.
Lighting & Sound Specialist: Support the use of Mus-co Sports Lighting and Sound software and hardware, working alongside AV managers as needed.
VoIP Guru: Update and maintain our Allo VoIP phone systems for clear and reliable communication.
Go-Getter Attitude: Embrace a "whatever it takes" mentality to ensure successful event execution.
To be successful, you'll need:
Solid knowledge and expertise in maintaining desktop and laptop computers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments, MS Office Suite, basic routing & networking (Cisco), server maintenance, and cabling.
A strong understanding of event-related IT and AV services, facility capabilities, and technical requirements.
The ability to read and comprehend technical blueprints and drawings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
The physical ability to climb, lift, and carry equipment.
A valid US driver's license and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
(Bonus) Experience with Cisco managed switch programming.
