Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts needs
- Utilize automotive repair knowledge to accurately identify and procure the correct parts for customers
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate inventory records
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock checks and ordering parts as needed
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs
- Utilize systems to track and manage parts inventory
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a parts advisor or similar role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
