We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle, keep clean and maintained. Schedule oil changes and other maintenance as needed
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Inform customers about new products and services
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Execute timely and safe deliveries of floral arrangements, plants and gifts
- Verify the accuracy of each order before departing from the floral shop, report any discrepancies or missing items to the retail staff for resolution.
- Physical fitness and the ability to life and carry moderately heavy floral arrangements
- Knowledge of the local area and efficient route planning skills
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by being courteous, professional and friendly
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid professional driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
