This position is in Boise, ID and will be part of the Intermountain team reporting to the District Manager. As the Produce Operations Specialist, you will be an integral member of the team by effectively overseeing the labor, shrink, merchandising and operational plans for the district.
You Will :
- Teach and train the teams to effectively implement the merchandising and sales plans.
- Assist the retail teams with production, handling, and packaging procedures to maintain quality product and freshness.
- Aid in the organization of stocking, display building, backroom standards, and sales floor standards.
- Implement in store coding policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Champion the training and compliance with the auto replenishing tool to ensure accurate ordering.
- Instill a high degree of customer awareness and service.
- Plan for the transition or display resets to minimize loss of sales dollars and customer inconvenience in conjunction with the Merchandising team.
- Demonstrate actions toward achieving the company's vision and values by identifying associates with promotion potential and fostering an environment of empowered learning.
- Utilize the inventory tools for preparation and trackability to achieve projections.
You Will Have :
- Experience with computer software to include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Department Manager, Assistant Store Director or Store Director experience.
- Leadership and retail management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- The ability to quickly identify and solve problems.
