Overview
As a Head Coach (Store Manager) you will be responsible for leading and inspiring all members of the team. This includes; merchandising, 5-star service throughout the store, building a positive and upbeat culture, overseeing all aspects of operations including efficient utilization of labor, controlling the store budget and protecting the company assets through daily controls. You'll also have the opportunity to build relationships and loyalty within the community and city officials. All of our coaches attend a hands-on small group training class which help them lead and inspire their teams to success and deliver exceptional customer service with a winning attitude while maximizing their store's profitability. This individual will supervise and coordinate activities of Assistant Head Coach(es) in their specific location. Reports to: District Manager
Manages: Assistant Coaches, Coaches in Training
FSLA Status: Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for your specific store
- Direct and supervise Assistant Head Coaches in over site of Team Members
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that store is meeting goals by providing exceptional service and quality goods
- Oversee Assistant Head Coach(es) in hiring, training, assigning duties, evaluating team members, promoting, coaching or terminating when appropriate
- Responsible for hiring, training, assigning duties, coaching and evaluating Assistant Head Coach(es)
- Enforce safety, health, security rules, OSHA compliance, and loss prevention in your specific location
- Plan and facilitate monthly team meetings
- Provide guest service by greeting and assisting and responding to inquiries or complaints
- Keep appropriate personnel informed of known actions, which may affect the ability to successfully perform assignments or adversely affect company operations
- Fully understands duties and monitors responsibilities of an Assistant Coach
- Other duties as assigned by District Manager or Executive Management
Qualifications:
Formal Education and Experience Requirement (Must meet one or more of the following requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four-year College or University or Associates degree with additional retail or pawn experience
- 2-4 years of manager or director experience
Knowledge:
- Point of sales systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must maintain valid/unrestricted driver’s license at all times
- Eligible to obtain any special state required licenses and/or certificates as required by law or the company
- Must maintain eligibility to be a responsible person on FFL license
