We are building up our Pawn 1st Store Management teams in the Phoenix market. Similar to roles such as Retail Store Manager, Store Manager, General Manager positions, we want to fill our teams with talented, experienced, and exceptional talent!

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced store manager to become an operational leader. We are inviting Store Manager / Retail Managers / General Manager candidates with financial services, pawn, rent to own, retail, big box, or jewelry experience to check us out! Key Responsibilities:

As a solid retail store manager and / or manager in training, you are accountable for operational success and strategic management including but not limited to:

• Overall retail store operations, standards, employee management, and policy implementation;
• Training, motivating and inspiring top sales performance;
• Store managers will engage and retain top talent;
• Store managers manage all key functions in a compliant manner including sales, lending, pawn purchase, layaway, product valuation and more!
• Retail Store Manager will learn and expand their financial management expertise including but not limited to inventory management, staffing plans, profit / loss initiatives, internal customer support and retention;

Our Store Manager Leadership team drives store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through a focus on excellent service. Successful store managers maintain and engage the store team of between 5-7 full time and part time employees by demonstrating initiative and leading by example. Support for our managers comes not only from their individual store teams but also regional field management and centralized infrastructure with strong virtual training, Accounting, IT, HR and Audit.

Requirements:

• High School diploma required. BS in business a preferred.
• Must be over 21 with no restrictions on working with firearms
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a retail or store management role preferably within a retail environment (pawn, financial services, rental programs, jewelry, or specialty retail a plus!)
• Proven track record of exceeding productivity and performance standards.
• Self motivated, professional with ability to lead and inspire others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Savvy computer skills with experience using Excel, ADP or similar time management systems, inventory systems and more.
• Prior experience working with key indicators / P&L statements.

Interview process will consist of zoom interview and 1-2 in person interviews with store visit / observation experience.
