Retail Sales Manager

Pawsitivity is a lifestyle company that makes and sources a premium collection of dog gear, men's & women's apparel, and other 100% Made in USA products. Our assortment features hand printed designs and superior craftsmanship across our line. We work with a carefully curated group of partners throughout the USA to engineer a new standard in the premium gifting and dog segment.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who loves animals and has a passion for selling and leading. The total compensation for this role (base plus commission) can be extremely lucrative for someone who understands how to connect with customers and create strategic business partnerships.

We are looking for the right individuals who understand the uniqueness of our brand and have a desire to amplify the brand alongside the founders, who live on Nantucket. This role does offer room for growth within the organization and long term possibilities for Edgartown and or Nantucket MA.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Relations

• Achieve store sales goals and other financial targets.
• High level product knowledge to facilitate unique and exciting retail experience
• Help to train the team in selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Provide the highest level of service for a luxury brand
• Strategically engage with local business for collaboration and business development purposes

Stock and Inventory Management:

• Communicate with Ownership to ensure inventory meets the needs of the business.
• Conduct inventory counts

Team Management:

• Work with Ownership to coach the sales team on performance, goals, provide regular feedback and nurture Pawsitive culture.
• Motivate the sales team through the creation of a fun work environment.

Store Operations:

• Maintain all POS functions to ensure accurate store reporting and accounting.
• Help with employee management

Visual Merchandising:

• Help to merchandise the store and execute window displays in accordance with company directives for collections.

Pay: $14.25 - $28.74 per hour
