Position Summary:

The Channel Programs Specialist supports the Channel Team by managing Channel Programs (e.g., Bootcamps/Mission Briefings/Launch Briefings/virtual webinars/live talks locally & internationally).  They lead and oversee updates to event campaigns, project manage program tasks, and take on miscellaneous event logistics as needed. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Handle all details for Pax8 sponsored programs (e.g., scheduling, communication of internal and external speakers, presentation materials, practice sessions, full execution of virtual and/or in-person events)
  • Work cross-departmentally with all stakeholders involved to capture and execute overall event objectives
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Tools and Technology, and any other key departmental leads to build, complete, organize, and oversee all associated campaign details for events
  • Serve as the primary contact for event logistics and provide customer service support for inquiries
  • Oversee development of program content including marketing assets tied to programs (e.g., email templates, deck creation, post-event resources, etc.)
  • Manage and execute day-of production for virtual and/or in-person events
  • Configure virtual platforms for events and oversee set-up of registration pages within the Event Management System and back-end technical systems including Zoom, Teams Live, and other providers
  • Update and maintain all necessary backend campaign templates for new events/changing campaigns
  • Communicate logistics to internal and external participants for events
  • Maintain internal Channel/Sales calendar when necessary
  • Manage event logistics (varies with event demand):
    • Collect, document, and archive proof of vendor sponsorship (e.g., photos/screenshots) for Pax8 programs (virtual and in-person)
    • Oversee international expansion of program and handle training demands when needed
    • Host live meetings across multiple time zones to support both US and international teams
    • Manage all in-person partner events logistics
    • Travel required

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) year of experience at Pax8 (for internal candidates only)
  • At least three (3) years of program management or other relevant event management experience
  • Microsoft Office experience required, with heavy emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word
  • Virtual event, webinar, or meeting planning experience is required. Technical experience with Teams Live, Zoom, or other webinar/event technology platforms preferred.
  • Immaculate attention to detail with the ability to be organized, process focused, a problem solver, critical thinker, proactive, ambitious, and customer service focused
  • Takes ownership of projects and strong experience in managing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations

  • Ability to maneuver comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
  • Ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $67,000 or more depending on experience
