Position Summary:

The Employee Advocacy and Content Manager develops, maintains, and strategizes the ongoing management of our social employee advocacy program — focusing on everything from internal communications to content ideation to ongoing reporting and analysis around overall performance. Through data driven insights, they deliver a seamless user experience that sets the table for and inspires internal employees to get active and sharing about Pax8 across social media.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the ongoing management of an internal focused social media editorial calendar that drives internal participation, engagement, and growth; proactively drives ideation around content, is an adept copywriter, and understands the nuances around social media and what will perform well
  • Oversees the ongoing management of an employee advocacy program; is the in-house software expert, an internal communications evangelist for the program, manages the vendor relationship, and ensures employee adoption and ongoing usage through a mix of compelling internal communications and consistently updated content within the platform
  • Leverages data-driven insights to identify and understand performance trends; analyzes data to determine how we make strategic adjustments; develops persuasive reports to inform internal stakeholders of recommendations
  • Works in conjunction with internal teams/stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives and effectively integrates into the social editorial calendar; works in conjunction with the digital merchandising manager to ensure prizing and fulfillment is integrated into program
  • Assists in ongoing research around the digital and social space – performing competitive technology audits, social media audits, vendor audits, trend monitoring, etc.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least four (4) to six (6) years of experience in a similar role focusing on social media, internal/external communications, and/or content production
  • Experience developing and managing a social media editorial calendar
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; has experience writing across various digital mediums, understands the nuances of copywriting for different platforms and what resonates with consumers
  • Creative-minded and capable of independent ideation or the ability to effectively brief a team of writers and designers to bring original ideas to life; can successfully concept strategic creative ideas, clearly articulate them through writing, and persuasively pitch them
  • Passionate about social media content and strategy, is adept at using and understanding the nuances of all the major social media platforms; proven ability to deliver meaningful content via digital and social channels
  • Previous experience working on integrated, digital marketing programs and campaigns
  • Has a working understanding of employee advocacy programs and how they are used effectively
  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities; can collect meaningful data, make sense of it, and use it to develop strategic insights that guide programs moving forward
  • Has an entrepreneurial attitude and — *cliché alert but true* — thrives in a rapidly changing start-up environment
  • Ability to take on multiple responsibilities, stay organized and keep programs on track while effectively communicating to appropriate stakeholders
  • Global marketing experience preferred but not required
  • Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance multiple responsibilities whether working from home or in an office
  • Passionate about technology, digital marketing, Internet culture, memes, and social media; stays current on cultural trends and what’s culturally relevant online across different platforms

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $85,000 or more depending on experience
