Job Description
Title: Specialist I, Terminal Installation
Department: Deployment, File Build, and Installation
Reports To
Team Lead, Terminal Installation, Elavon or equivalent position
Job Purpose
The purpose of the Terminal Installation Specialist is to perform and on-site installation and customer training on Payroc products and services allowing for our customer to begin utilizing the product as soon as possible. The Specialist is responsible for quality testing of the device installation, ensuring the customer is set up to their satisfaction. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of communication, paperwork, and/or any other applicable detail regarding a customer’s installation or device.
Duties and Responsibilities
- On-site terminal installation and configurations of credit card payment devices
- Product delivery from Payroc office location to Payroc customer’s business site
- Communicate with various Payroc departments to efficiently manage customer installations
- Provide exemplary customer service and technical support to customers
- Must understand technical fundamentals of computer systems and/or credit card processing and have the ability to communicate technical instructions and resolution procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Acceptable MVR Driving Record
- Ability to travel
- Beginner to Intermediate functional skills with excellent customer service
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with proficient attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Salesforce experience preferred but not required
Travel Component
Up to 85% daily travel with few overnight travel requirements.
