Our company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement/Contracts Specialist with experience in managing leases to join our dynamic team. As a Procurement/Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve overall efficiency.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their products/services, and negotiate contracts that meet the company's requirements.
Evaluate contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop specifications, evaluate bids, and make recommendations to achieve optimal value from procurement initiatives.
Oversee the entire procurement process, from vendor selection to contract management and performance evaluation.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, including amendments, addendums, and other relevant documents.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or disputes that arise during the contract term.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and contracts management.
Work closely with key decision makers to provide guidance and support on procurement and contracting needs, including lease agreements.
Requirements:
Experience in Real Estate Contracts/Law strongly desired.
BA/BS or relevant experience required.
Proven experience as a Procurement/Contracts Specialist, with a focus on leasing agreements.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations related to procurement and contracts.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using procurement and contract management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and flexible, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
