`Position Summary
Manages staff during scheduled shifts and supervises facility operations. Provides assistance and support to Management. Serves as the main point of contact for staff and resolves customer and employee concerns. Shows a commitment to quality service by using knowledge of parking ordinances, parking options and rates, events and amenities to assist guests and State employees. Performs garage inspections, troubleshoot equipment and assist customers using our parking technologies. Creates a positive image of the State of Louisiana by demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Demonstrates knowledge of area, events, and amenities
· Facilitates effective communication with guests, staff, and management
· Understands front line responsibilities
· Uses e-mail as a daily communication tool
· Is able to use technology to monitor and enforce compliance of parking ordinances and regulations
· Uses point-of-sale systems to process parking transactions
· Ensures that all employees are following company policies and procedures
· Has the responsibility of coaching, explaining, counseling, and encouraging employees when they are having performance issues
· Responsible for closing the facilities
· Makes certain that all employees are equipped at start of their shift
· Conducts daily meetings at shift start to advise staff of events, policy changes etc.
· Completes daily employee assessment forms
· Completes hourly garage walks to ensure the safety of the facilities
· Practices excellent customer service skills to resolve guest and employee concerns
· Promotes public and resident safety by maintaining a state of awareness of physical hazards and suspicious activity
· Relieves staff for breaks prn
· Assist with employee training
· Inspects vehicles/equipment at start and end of shift and reports any issues to management
· Monitors vehicle counts in garages
· Safely operates company vehicle
· Maintains contact with staff and management
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
