Your role
You’ll take on all, or many, of the following duties:

Create compelling content from conception to execution, including blog posts, web copy, emails, and more

Build distribution plans for content, including SEO, social media, guest posting, ads, and more and execute against the plans to proactively reach our audience

Build expertise on the energy and power generation industries and a network of internal and external subject matter experts who enable you to tell compelling stories and deliver meaningful learning across all channels

Proactively maintain PCI's website, executing updates and optimizations

Collaborate with creative agencies to conceptualize, design, and produce marketing collateral

Own our social media strategy. Ideate, write, and design social posts using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

Develop and distribute engaging email campaigns and newsletters, ensuring list health and deliverability

Ensure all content integrates into the company’s overall editorial calendar

Brainstorm and implement new ideas to creatively highlight PCI's brand through events. Be available to travel to support event booths.

Oversee the creation and purchasing of PCI swag for employees and customers, building an annual strategy to maintain true-to-brand merchandise

Contribute to our employer branding strategy and help bring initiatives to life

Champion PCI's brand purpose through exemplary work and embodiment of our core values

In addition, there will be opportunities to support the Marketing team on special projects and learn new skills and channels across the marketing stack
Your Experience
You’ll have some, or all, of the following experiences:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Or equivalent experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in content creation
-
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing
-
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role is a plus
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to quickly learn about the energy industry

Organized self-starter who takes initiative on projects

Creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit

Passionate about continuous learning and professional growth

Familiarity with email marketing platforms, WordPress, and design tools like Canva
