This individual is responsible for driving large, cross-organizational programs to completion while ensuring program delivery stays in-scope, maintains customer satisfaction, and meets budget and schedule objectives. The Senior Program Manager will be the central coordination point managing deliverables from multiple PDF organizations, PDF partners, and contractors to meet customer requirements. The Senior Program Manager will provide management leadership for multiple projects and must effectively prioritize and manage deadlines and internal client expectations for the most diverse and complex industry problems. This role will require broad management skills and a strong desire to exceed customer expectations. Successful candidates will demonstrate past success and enthusiasm to work in a global team-oriented environment. Strong executive level presentations skills will be required.
Responsibilities
Program Management –
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and clients to make sure projects are scoped, scheduled, and budgeted correctly.
- Set expectations about the program plan with clients.
- Assist in identifying and managing program risks.
- Facilitate program conflict resolution such as resource scheduling and expectation differences.
- Assist in removing blocks preventing program progress.
- Create and maintain program documentation, including changes to the scope, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor and communicate program progress.
- Hold post- program retrospectives to identify successful and unsuccessful program elements.
- Manage partner and vendor contributions to the program.
Team Leadership –
- Provide leadership to the project teams; ensure that all team members are working together effectively, are communicating with other teams, and producing quality work in line with the overall program vision.
Communication –
- Provide useful updates to both customer management and PDF management to maintain visibility on business goals and accomplishments.
- Will work with internal and external clients to maintain alignment to required business specifications.
- Communicate within the delivery team to ensure that all understand what is required of them.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Good technological base for effectively understanding the requirements involved in software product delivery.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills for effectively communicating and managing the program requirements to both internal and external organizations.
- Excellent time management and organization; able to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- A successful track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Ability to achieve results while working independently.
- Ability to travel on company business, attend client functions, and professionally represent the company.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as GEM and EDA
- Experience with IT applications such as ERP, CRM, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or shop-floor applications like MES (SiView, Fab300, etc) and equipment automation
- Knowledge of ERP integration strategies and EAI in general
- Experience with Jira or Microsoft Dynamics
- Familiarity with workflow frameworks, preferably open source tools like Apache Camel, Karavan or Airflow
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in software or management related area; MBA degree preferred.
- 10 years of industry related experience.
Pay Range
USD $152,953.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.Salary : $152,953 - $170,000
