The Sales Consultant will be responsible for direct sales and sales facilitation among existing and new customers with the goal of driving repeatable, sustainable, and predictable incremental sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Sales
- Use our existing customer base and lead pipeline as a launching point for your sales efforts you will call on known customers/leads.
- Working closely with prospective customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions.
- Organic / Prospecting / data-driven opportunities: Cold & warm calling prospective customers based on segmentation, purchase history, frequency, and trends.
- Communicate the breadth and depth of product selection and overall capabilities of the software to prospective customers.
- Apply general product knowledge to discuss the needs of a wide variety of customer types.
- Use our sales, customer data, and reports to identify and target specific customers who represent opportunity for sales growth.
Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as being comfortable talking with internal and external customers in any setting.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and business fundamentals.
- Refined interpersonal skills to engage with others, solid negotiating and conflict resolution abilities.
- Able to foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Comfortable with computers, various applications, technology, and the internet.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and follow up.
- Excellent PC skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and during flexible hours.
Experience:
- Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
- B2B Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
- Inside Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
