Duties / Responsibilities :
Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health historyDeliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phoneAnswer calls and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatmentMaintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting areaKnowledge of dental insurance and an understanding of the breakdown of benefitsReview treatment plans and financials with patientsAssist with meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules are full and scheduled appropriatelyCollect patient payments and post them to their patient ledgerUpdate necessary documents into DenticonMake outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointmentsAdditional duties as needed, such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our officeRequirements
Experience in a dental front office setting is requiredDental Insurance knowledge is a mustAbility to work independentlyCustomer service orientedTeam playerKnowledge of Denticon is preferred but not required
