What are the responsibilities and job description for the CCTV Security Specialist position at Peak Performers?
Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas based steel and metal manufacturer to assist in their search for a CCTV Security Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for all technical configuration, service, repairs & replacements (RMA where applicable), system management and administration for parts of video, alarm, and access control.
Major duties
Coordinate and assist in servicing cameras, video system, alarm system, and access control system for internal CMC users
Program cameras and access control equipment to company standards
Perform detailed receiving and shipping documentation of security equipment
Physically receive and ship video equipment including unboxing, programming, labeling, and boxing of hardware for local and remote locations
Assist with managing and maintaining the Video Management System as well as keeping it updated and operational
Assist with research and design of video, alarm and access control components for specific needs and locations
Perform firmware updates as needed but especially in relation to I.T. security compliance
Perform thermal and analytical calibrations on various equipment
What are we looking for?
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
2-5 years video, alarm or access control experience with private industry and/or security suppliers
AXIS device manager experience a plus
Strong understanding of camera settings and basic network architecture
Experience with video management systems, intrusion alarms, and access control
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to travel as required
AXIS and Level 1 Thermography certification and is preferred
About this position
Salary: $60,000-$70,000 (Up to 10% bonus eligibility based on company performance)
Days / Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-5pm
