Accountable for creating product and placement recommendations to the ADUSA Category Managers, supporting their comprehensive and cohesive omnichannel category strategies. Their proposals should align with the category roles & strategies to address customer needs, achieve category KPIs, and align with each brand’s integrated business plans. This role involves supervising the day-to-day activities of end-to-end item management, category assortment reviews, and the complete execution of resets for all stakeholders. The manager will collaborate with key business partners to bring our omnichannel merchandising plans to life. Maintaining partnerships and collaborating across various teams within the organization and with suppliers is crucial, as well as engaging with leadership and adhering to local brand guidelines.

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the roles:

• Proactively support the category teams to ensure we deliver KPIs and programs in support of category strategies
• Subject Matter Expert for all Brands on-shelf and off-shelf guardrails
• Monitors adherence to reset timelines and ability to hold others accountable
• Monitors vendor and item set up
• Coordinates team off-shelf display assets with business partners
• Key point of contact for coordinating activities and communication for GLB store openings/closings/remodels
• Strong understanding of Category Management Principles
• Strong ability to leverage Data and build actionable insights
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to balance multiple priorities at one time
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Retail/Grocery Industry experience required
• 5-8 years of proven experience.

• Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) preferred
