Position Summary:
We are looking for a Clinical Deployment Manager reporting into the Head of Enterprise Solutions. The Clinical Deployment Manager will be a player-coach, initially helping to establish this department’s role and responsibilities and then growing the team over time. They will advise on clinical deployment and use of our Prescription Digital Therapeutic (PDT) technologies by healthcare systems, ambulatory practices, providers, and support staff, resulting in revised standards of care, redefined clinical workflows, order sets, and care pathways, for the customers and patients that use our technologies.
The Clinical Deployment Manager serves as a clinical subject matter expert supporting various internal/external stakeholder teams and drives establishment and implementation of new care paradigms which include the use of Prescription Digital Therapeutics with our customers. This role will translate the results of customer clinical leadership viewpoint into EHR and other clinical systems configuration requirements, including care team workflow modifications, and documenting as necessary to meet customer deployment requirements. Further, this role will ensure that the customer successfully adopts these approved and documented changes and will keep the documentation up to date as additional modifications are made.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a familiarity with the PEAR Digital Therapeutic applications to provide ongoing education and direction for the effective use and expanded deployment of the therapies
- Actively participates in cross functional project teams representing clinical deployment from a tactical and day-to-day execution perspective
- Work with internal stakeholder groups including marketing, sales, and customer success as clinical deployment subject matter expert
- Work with internal / external clinical leadership teams in the development of new standards of care which include PDT’s, care team workflows, and EMR enhancements.
- Comprehensive understanding of provider and support staff workflows.
- Works with site leaders to ensure clinic staff have appropriate workflow knowledge to do their job upon hire.
- Support new and current providers with Epic set-up and workflows established by leadership.
- Support provider-support staff teams to ensure both parties are aware of appropriate workflows and expectations to improve clinic efficiency and advance Renown Health initiatives.
- Assist in any non-IT provider classes and provide one-on-one training as needed, and regularly check in with providers to review new and existing workflows and answer any related questions.
- Work with IT Epic Non-Clinical Trainers to optimize Epic training for new providers.
- Maintain and review Epic Tip Sheets so they remain current and relevant to providers and support staffs.
- Work with Informatics Liaison as a support staff, in a clinical setting, intermittently throughout the month to maintain clinical skills and understanding of workflows.
- Attend meetings deemed appropriate by leadership (i.e., Support staff, Provider Meetings, Webinars, etc.) so that all aspects of provider-support staff team workflow are understood.
- Facilitate and coordinate department Webinar series and department meetings to include prepping agendas, handouts, PowerPoints, maintaining schedule and running Webinar reports.
- Support providers identified by leadership in need of workflow assistance for regulatory measures.
- Serve as the contact, in addition to Informatics Liaison, for ancillary services (i.e., IT, coding, lab, imaging, contact center, operations leadership) when discrepancies, opportunities or other issues arise regarding clinical workflows.
- Adhere to project and training plan timelines.
- Contributes to the improvement of processes, systems, tools, procedures. May contribute to SOP review, development, and adherence.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required in science/health-related field. A Master’s or doctorate degree is preferred.
- 3 years of clinical operations experience
- Able to work independently and make appropriate strategic decisions to operationalize and move the clinical trials forward.
- Experienced at developing and growing a new function/ department
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills including listening skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, while maintaining attention to detail is critical.
- Experience operating effectively within a matrixed environment, specifically in a healthcare/pharmaceutical start-up setting.
- Subject Matter Expert in EMR system configuration and deployment and other clinical systems used by providers and support staff.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and resources, meet deadlines, and be flexible to changing priorities.
- Strong and influential leadership skills with proven ability to lead internal and external team members at all levels.
- Mastery of the electronic medical record application and the provider and support staff workflows.
- Must have vision and can imagine the possibilities of a health system-wide integrated Prescription Digital Therapeutic platform that address customer challenges and convert that vision into reality with customers.
- Experienced in customer discovery and in data gathering, workflow documentation and process/practice redesign efforts.
- Understanding of population health, quality standards and measures, patient outcomes
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to articulate clinical and end-user needs in a concise and easily understood manner. Ability to teach others in an effective way to promote support and buy-in with providers and internal stakeholders/team.
- Ability to travel up to approximately 30% which may include implementation and support on weekends and evening
- Ability to gracefully adapt to ever changing conditions and requirements both internally and externally. Ability to lead and adapt to change and being a change agent and champion will be paramount in this role
