What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Scribe position at Pearland Pediatrics?
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES- The Medical Scribe charts patient’s encounters in real-time using the EMR system.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Works alongside Physician to overcome clinical inefficiencies, improve operations, and enhance the revenue functions.
- Accurately records and documents patient’s visits and procedures.
- Transcribes results of patient and doctor consultations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- establishes and maintains patient relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
- Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
- PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required
EDUCATION * High school diploma or GED required
EXPERIENCE * Minimum 1 year of experience with medical scribing

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
