What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Analyst position at Pearson?
The Contract Analyst is a position within the Clinical Assessment group. The Contract Analyst must have the ability to analyze and prepare contractual documents in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and client business requirements.
The Contract Analyst will:
- Process Pearson contractual documents (i.e., Statements of Work, Change Requests, Master License Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements) as established within the contracts process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review existing client contracts to accurately prepare new contract requests and/or respond to internal or external contract questions.
- Track and manage contract lifecycle utilizing Pearson’s technology platforms and department processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure accuracy of contract documents and/or client-requested edits.
- Track post-contract reporting requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Job Requirements:
- Paralegal certification or Bachelor’s degree
- Three plus years of experience in contract administration, legal support, or a related field.
- An eye for detail; confidence in proofreading materials for accuracy and consistency.
- Time management skills; ability to multi-task projects with complicated requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn new technology and adapt to changes in technology.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of legal and compliance principles, and commercial agreements.
- Knowledge of MS Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $52,000 - $62,000. This position is not bonus eligible, and information on benefits offered is here.
