The objective of this position is to manage a regional sales team including Key Account Managers, Sales Reps and Inside Sales Reps, focused on driving digital solutions which are large-scale, multi–service, multi-product solutions within our key market segments in the Adult/Higher Education and corporate markets. You will apply a high-level sales strategy and acute business acumen to cultivate your region to drive sales of Pearson English Language Learning products and services such as assessment, courseware, digital content, and tutoring support. You will be part of the North America sales team responsible for business development growth including accurate pipeline tracking and delivering financial KPI’s within the organization.
The key focus of the Regional Manager is to identify strategic market opportunities and align your sales team to drive sales of comprehensive Pearson English Language Learning solutions, develop a sales strategy to drive market share gains within the Adult/HED and Corporate Market space. You will work with internal stakeholders including content development, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver solutions to the market. Potential opportunities include (but are not limited to) multinational corporations, Universities, Private Language Schools, (PLS) and Community Colleges.

The key accountabilities for the role include achieving or exceeding financial targets, accurate pipeline tracking and reporting, strategic partnership development.
This is a remote/home-based position with approximately 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with product and marketing teams to develop a go-to-market strategy which translates into a strategic sales plan for your assigned geographic area.
Drive Digital Sales Solutions consisting of assessment, digital content, and service solutions.
Bring content expert credibility to the customer through solution sales presentations; participate in customer-facing presentations and events
Provide customer feedback and market intelligence to Product and Services teams to influence future product development.
Inspire, drive, and collaborate with the North America sales team to drive best practice usage of technology and services.

Essential Experience/Background:
Reside within the United States (North Eastern States: NY, NJ, MA, PA, DC, MD, VA, OH, IL)
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and successful work experience.
A minimum of 2 years of sales management experience
Record of informal and/or formal leadership
Proven track record of sales excellence
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues for the benefit of the customer and Pearson.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, Excel, PPT

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range is between $90K- $100K.
