To assemble and finish Peerless-AV products to engineering schematics. Products include, but are not limited to interactive kiosks, outdoor displays and video wall mounts. This role will also be required to trouble shoot and correct problems that come up during testing and assembly process. This position does not require travel.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School degree or electronic assembly experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years in electronics area.
- Experience within manufacturing industry or preferably service of electronic repairs.
- Experience in dealing with production lines & working well with others.
Required Skills:
- Must know how to solder electronic components.
- Must be hands on with all electronic displays that are used in each product line.
- Ability to think strategically & understand production.
- Must have the ability to clearly state & explain issues as they occur in production.
- Must be able to read wiring diagrams and have experience testing Good attention to detail, organizational skills & ability to prioritize.
- Ability to effectively interface with Supervisor/ Manager, Engineering & Quality Assurance (QA)
ESSENTIAL RESULTS:
- Understanding of a production line, Product ID & Preservation & manufacturing Shop Order process
- Follow engineering product specifications & required testing to assure Coordinate collection of Production & Quality Assurance (QA) data to deliver to Supervisor & QA personnel
- Follow established Manufacturing, QA & Safety processes
- Must Document and report problems that occur in production to Supervisor & Quality Technician
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance and up to 60 lbs. with another person
- Must be able to work over time if needed on special projects
- Contribute to a team & safety effort
- ID ways to improve existing processes & contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
