Pelican's is looking for leadership to assist in their grand opening! Food service experience preferred, shift leadership required. This position will be working someone in slowly to the role of manager over a few months but will be compensated for manager pay from the start. This is PERFECT for someone who is young and in college and motivated to build their resume and leadership experience, or someone who has prior extensive management experience!

Pelican’s of Douglasville is looking to hire two leadership positions with people who are experienced in a leadership role in a fast paced environment.

Leadership experience required. Food service experience preferred. Must be willing to work in a fast paced, busy environment with an emphasis on hustle while simultaneously having outstanding customer service and a positive attitude. Expected to learn quickly on the job and progress quickly to meet the roles expectations of keeping workplace moral high, training new employees, meeting cleanliness standards, and potentially doing interviews and making weekly schedules.

We are hiring Manager's, but also for slightly less experienced but capable candidates we are hiring Shift Leaders! Summed up, we are looking for mature, positive candidates who can invigorate enthusiasm in the team by leading by example in attitude and work performance.

Shifts are typically 6-8 hours at a time. Base pay for Managers start at $12 and Shift Leaders at $11, this does not include tips which is a *very* substantial increase in pay, during the peak season total tips average about an additional $4 an hour on top of base pay. There are also opportunities to own your own Pelican's franchise down the line for those that show an interest.

Workplace professionalism, emotional maturity, customer service and a desire to make the customer's happy is a MUST. Must be hard working, and willing to move with a sense of urgency, comfortably working as part of a team that moves at a fast pace while keeping positive energy and teamwork at the forefront of how we work.

Must be available work primarily in Fayetteville, and Griffin when needed, although this is not weekly or an excessively common need. After initial training, must be available to work 5 shifts a week, with at least 2 of those being weekend shifts (weekend shifts qualify on days Friday-Sunday) and have moderate flexibility with your availability to help new employee on boarding and training.
