ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Planning and Performance Analyst, you will lead the analytical and reporting functions for a global product organization! This individual contributor role will provide analytical support across a diverse team including finance, hardware, product, quality, and software. The successful candidate will be able to implement budget planning, standard reporting; self-service analysis and dashboards, and conduct thorough analysis to enable insights and long-term plans and drive continuous improvement. Expertise in financial planning , OKR tracking is imperative as is technical expertise using relevant tools.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Work closely with the Finance team in creating annual budgeting templates
Work across multiple product organizations to plan and report out a department level budget
Define processes and track line item spends and provide actionable input to each department
head to stay within budget.
Manage and assist in issuing POs as well as processing invoices
Use existing tools and help define and enforce process-centered management and control on a
daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Implement standard reporting in order to create efficiency, scalability and provide time and ease
of use for the operating teams
Build dashboards with drill-down capability in order to allow all levels of the organization access
to relevant data and to manage performance independently while being consistent
Conduct robust analytical projects designed to identify strategic opportunities for innovation and
improvement and to track trends and impacts over time
Analyze line item spend drivers across the business to drive bottom line impacting improvements
from an OPEX, CAPEX perspective
Assist with propagating and tracking department level OKRs.
Assist is tracking progress against the OKRs in a consistent manner across departments.
Analyze and identify opportunities for insights and improvements
Regularly report on actual vs goal metrics to the stakeholder partners
Assist in planning for efficient resource allocation and planning across departments and programs
Develop models for planning future expansions of the organization
Lead the rolling planning and forecasting process to ensure regular re-evaluation and adjustment
of business decisions to impact given constantly evolving conditions with a minimum of 90-day
forward-looking visibility
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
4 years of analytical experience including finance, budget planning and OKRs.
Experience with finance tools such as Coupa, business intelligence tools and developing reports
and dashboards
Background in finance, statistics, math, or operations management
Background with cloud-based finance tools (Ex: Coupa) preferred
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Solid skills at receiving diverse input and being able to form requirements and solutions and
partner with different stakeholders to implement
Experience with financial processes and Workforce planning desirable
Project Management experience a plus
